Springwood United FC's Club Chaplin, Damon Dreves, organised for Springwood club members to donate old/pre-loved football boots to hand out to kids etc whilst he traveled to Cambodia. In addition to this, the club also decided to donate some of their old playing shirts and socks.
Here are a couple of photo's Damon has taken whilst in Cambodia of those privileged to receive this gear.
One of the photo's is of boys who stopped by when the gear was being sorted. They play in the local field with friends and we're so excited to be given the equipment.
The other photo is a group of construction workers who have formed a team and we're excited to get the kit.
They had to wear hard hats because they were in the construction site.
Damon said it was such a joy to bless them all with the boots and clothes.
